For our first homework of Year 1 we were asked to create, draw or photograph a tree. Mrs Mercer was AMAZED by what we have produced! Take a look for yourself…
Part of our geography work was observing what the trees on our school ground look like at the end of the summer. We studied them closely and then created careful sketches. In December, we plan to wrap up warmly and come back outside to do the same activity and see if we notice anything different. What do you think of our techniques?
So far we have been back at school for 2 days. We weren’t sure what our classroom would look like, as it has just been built especially for us!
When we came in on Wednesday morning we had lots to look at and explore. We used some fantastic words to express our feelings about about new classroom; including “lovely” “awesome” and “playful”.
We would love to hear what you think of our new classroom, so please have a look at the photos and leave us a comment!
Hello Class 1,
When you come back to school in September there will be a beautiful new classroom awaiting you! I will be busy getting it ready over the summer holidays, and thought it would be nice to ask you what you would like to see in there? I will read all of your ideas and do my best to include some of them in our new room 🙂
Have a super summer,
Mrs Mercer x
Class One have a brand new blog ready for the new school year. We will use the blog to show off our fantastic work, keep you updated with class and school news and also to share our ideas and writing with the world!
